ToolmetryAI started the way most good projects do — out of frustration. We were a small team of developers who kept running into the same problem: every time we needed a simple online tool — a JSON formatter, a password generator, an image compressor — we'd land on websites that were slow, bloated with invasive ads, demanded sign-ups for basic features, or quietly harvested user data in the background.
The "free" tool landscape had become a minefield. You'd find a tool that looked promising, spend time learning its interface, only to hit a paywall or discover your data was being sold to third parties. The tools that were genuinely free often looked like they hadn't been updated since 2012. We knew there had to be a better way.
So we built one. ToolmetryAI started as a small collection of utilities we built for ourselves — clean, fast, and actually free. No sign-up walls, no data harvesting, no misleading "free trial" buttons. Over time, what began as a personal project grew into a platform with 120+ tools used by creators, developers, and businesses around the world.

We use only Google AdSense — no pop-ups, no misleading ad placements, and no other ad networks. Users can opt out of personalized advertising through our Cookie Consent banner at any time.
Premium Subscriptions
Users can purchase a premium plan that provides additional AI generation credits and priority access to new tools. Premium is a one-time purchase per billing period with no auto-renewal. Free users still have access to the majority of our tools without any payment.
Voluntary Donations
Users who find our tools valuable can choose to support us through voluntary donations. Donations are entirely optional and do not unlock any additional features. They simply help us cover server costs and invest in new tool development.
That is it. No hidden fees, no data brokerage, no selling user information. Our business model is straightforward: ads fund free access, premium provides extra capacity, and donations are voluntary support from our community.
